We have access to excellent facilities. This includes our own air compressor (fills are included in the branch fees); access to a 3.4 metre deep pool – great for testing kit or checking new equipment before taking it into open water; Delayed SMB practice; Controlled buoyant lift practice: honing and improving skills; and of course training. We also have social events.
Like any organisation the more members we have the more training and diving we can do. Club members are actively encouraged to arrange club dives.
You are not forced to undertake BSAC training or crossover (unless you want to do this), and can dive within your current qualification (PADI; SAA; NAUI; etc), but you will have to include BSAC membership in your Branch membership subscriptions.
